Fatigue After Radiation Therapy

Is there anything I can do to feel less tired after radiation therapy?

Fatigue is fairly common to most breast cancer patients undergoing radiation therapy. However, there are a few things you can do to help alleviate fatigue:

  • Careful food selection, which may help offset fatigue. Many people suffer a loss of appetite during radiation, so you may want to consult with a nutritionist.

  • If you feel up to it, a short walk may help boost your energy level.
