What is tubular carcinoma?

Tubular carcinoma:
An uncommon type of infiltrating breast carcinoma, tubular carcinomas represent approximately 2% of all breast cancers.

Patients treated for tubular carcinomas of the breast have a better prognosis than do patients with more common types of invasive breast cancer.
