Wigs

Where can I buy a wig?

Your doctor should be able to direct you to a local source of wigs. Other alternatives are to ask other women in your cancer support groups where wigs can be purchased, or to. contact your local American Cancer Society chapter for a list of local stores that sell wigs.

Several online and mail order stores specialize in wigs, hats, and headscarves for chemotherapy patients:

  • Headcovers Unlimited (www.headcovers.com)

  • World of Wigs (www.worldofwigs.com)

  • Jacques Darcel, 50 West 57th Street, New York, NY 10019; or call (212)-753-7576 for a full-color catalog of wigs
