CMF is the abbreviation for a chemotherapeutic regimen (i.e., combination of chemotherapeutic drugs) consisting of cyclophosphamide (C), methotrexate (M), and 5-fluorouracil (F) and the steroid drug, prednisone (P).
Some women with breast cancer of Stage IIIB and higher receive adjuvant (i.e., post-surgical) treatment with CMFP.
