Regional Recurrence  

What does regional recurrence mean?

Regional recurrence (i.e., regional re-occurrence) of a cancer is when, after treatment of a cancer and disappearance of the tumor or cancer cells in a particular organ, the same type of tumor or cancer cells re-occur in the lymph nodes close to the original organ.
