 Breast Cancer

Breast Cancer More Common in Women Than in Men

Why is breast cancer not as common in men as it is in women?

Breast cancer is more common in women than in men for several reasons. Women have more breast cells than do men. Also, a woman's breast cells are constantly exposed to fluctuations in hormones, including estrogen, which is known to increase risk.
